CoQ10

As we are seeing more
and more people be affected by serious health concerns, most of us are
looking for ways we can improve our health and fight off possible
illnesses that could bring us down. In an environment where we are often
putting ourselves at risk by pushing too hard for too long, it is
becoming more necessary to ensure your body is up to the task. One thing
that may be worth a try is supplementing with CoQ10. CoQ10 is a
coenzyme that has great antioxidant properties and has a big role in
helping create energy within each cell of our body. It has also been
shown to help regulate LDL cholesterol levels and helps the heart
function optimally. Some studies even suggest that CoQ10 can be used to
help with cancer treatments, as cancer patients will often show low
CoQ10 levels.

CoQ10 occurs naturally
in small doses in many of our foods, but supplementing 90 to 120 mg
could be beneficial to avoid deficiency. Deficiencies of CoQ10 can lead
to arrhythmia, high blood pressure and even stomach ulcers to name a
few. In regards to cancer and other health concerns, this is where the
benefits of increased antioxidant intake can be beneficial. Antioxidants
track down and fight free radicals in the body that can damage cells
and even DNA. Even if you were not deficient in CoQ10, adding it to your
daily supplement regimen could prove beneficial as a precautionary
measure.
